Event Manager – Consumer and B2B Events – Northeast London
Salary: Up to £50,000 (Negotiable) + Bonus + 25 Days Holiday + Healthcare
Event Manager job for one of the UK’s leading and multi-award winning exhibition and publishing companies, they hold some of the UK’s most successful consumer and B2B shows attended by celebrity chefs, designers and tv personalities and broadcast across several major tv and online platforms. They are looking for a creative, commercially minded event manager to deliver experiential workshops and experiences across their event portfolio, whilst developing commercially successful brand partnership and sponsorship agreements.
Currently a team of just over 100, they have won multiple awards for their events, they are renowned for delivering exciting and engaging shows, attracting over 1m visitors every year. They entertain, inspire, inform and connect with people and businesses and are now extending their workshops and experiences across their successful portfolio. You will take creative lead on the event content strategy to further enhance the experience of visitors.
About the role:
– Scheduling of workshops, experiences, experiential events
– Create and manage commercial partnerships / sponsorships
– Budget management
– Creating an event contact strategy with the event directors
– Managing stages, features and talent to deliver on-brand and impactful experience
– Collaborate with other departments across the business including operations, marketing and sponsorship teams
– Maintain a high standard of event content and in line with the brand.
The ideal candidate:
– 3+ years as an event content producer, event manager or similar role
– Live events or exhibitions background is essential
– Commercial acumen with previous experience of budget management
– Must have experience in creating revenue-generating partnership / sponsorship
– Ability to manage several projects / tasks at one time
– Creative thinker
– An interest in lifestyle brands would be advantageous
– Relevant Degree in Event Management, Communications, Media Production or similar.
