Group Marketing Manager Job (Exhibitions and Conferences) โ€“ Redhill, Surrey 

Salary: ยฃ60,000 (Negotiable) + hybrid working + flexible working hours + progression + international travel 

Group Marketing Manager job based in Redhill, Surrey for a leading B2B publisher, conference and exhibitions company. The role will offer further progression in a fast-pace and friendly work environment managing a team of Marketing Managers and involving international travel when required.  

Their current team of 50 delivers multiple worldwide conferences and exhibitions throughout the year, alongside print publications and online advertising solutions. They serve a wide array of sectors across the manufacturing, supply chain, retail sectors, fitness and the service industries, and they are continuing to grow their UK based teams and global portfolio successfully. 

About the role: 

– Manage all marketing of a B2B exhibitions and conferences portfolio 

– Develop marketing strategies to maximise attendance, engagement and overall success of the events 

– Manage a small team of marketing managers 

– Conduct market research and keep up to date with industry news and trends to identify relevant topics and themes for content 

– Manage the execution of several marketing channels and initiatives 

– Analyse marketing performance metrics, lead quality and conversion rates

– Budget management 

– Identify global partnership and develop relationships with companies 

– Audit and manage current data management processes

– Create and manage newly created website strategy across all brands 

– Collaborate with external agencies and create a good return on investment

– Develop feedback surveys to gather insights for continuous improvement

– Oversee registration and online ticketing processes. 

The ideal candidate: 

– Ideally 2+ years in managing a marketing team 

– 5+ years in marketing, this must include working for a conference and/or exhibition company

– You must have experience in developing marketing strategies

– Global marketing experience 

– Ability to create and manage engaging, high-impact campaigns 

– Excellent project management experience 

– Proficient in Microsoft Office, website systems, email marketing tools, data management tools and project management software

– Flexibility to amend working hours to fit into a global market sector

– International travel will be required.
